Construction of a new RSNA headquarters building, located on 5.3 acres of land in Oak Brook, Illinois, was completed in fall 1998.
The 101,000-square-foot structure has four floors: RSNA occupies approximately 72,000 square feet, including portions of the first and fourth floors and the entire second and third floors. The remaining space is leased. The surrounding grounds include a three-story parking garage and retention pond.
Financed through bonds issued by the Illinois Development Finance Authority (IDFA), the building provides a substantial long-term savings to RSNA while better accommodating the steady growth of the Society and its programs.

The Radiological Society of North America (RSNA) has received the prestigious 2000 Award of Recognition from The Chicago Building Congress for the distinctive design and outstanding construction of the new RSNA Headquarters building at 820 Jorie Boulevard, Oak Brook, IL. The new building, conceived during the tenure of the late Delmar Stauffer, RSNA Executive Director, was completed in October of 1998 and is a 101,000 square-foot structure encompassing four floors. The RSNA occupies approximately 72,000 square feet; the balance is leased. The interior of the building includes staff offices, a training room, a conference center, library, storage space, and an elegant two-story lobby.
